An Indigeneous Day Celebration
1. An Indigeneous Day Celebration at Labour welfare Hall, Madati in Phansidewa Block of Darjeeling district. About 300 tea gardens men women and youth participated, which was organized by UBCMAM a social action unit of Human Life Development &Research centre.
2. One Billion Rising (OBR) Campaign 2020 on 14th February, 2020 at Dagapur. The campaign was organized by Darjeeling Mary Ward Social Centre with the partnership of HLDRC. The main focus of the campaign was to create awareness on sexual, physical, racial, economic, political, socio-cultural, ideological and climate crisis violence. To make this event successful HLDRC actively participated and gave support to organize the campaign.
3. BIRSA MUNDA CELEBRATION
Birsa Munda Jayanti was celebrated in bigger scale in Khoribari block and in Ghoshpukur School ground under the banner of Uttar Bangal Chay Mazdoor Adhikar Manch (UBCMAM). Thousand of adivasi men, women and youth participated in the program. Since last 3 years it is quite significant to celebrate which helps to connect ourselves in all present day struggles for securing own life in this region.
